Tibetan Buddhist Prayer Flags

Hand blocked by Buddhist monks in Nepal, these attractive flags sanctify the air, purify the mind and spread blessing to all beings.

Each flag is imprinted with sacred mantras (or prayers) of Padmasambhava (Guru Rimpoche) for peace, compassion and wisdom.

The five colors of the flags represent the five elements of life:

  • Blue (space)
  • White (inner-self)
  • Red (fire)
  • Yellow (earth)
  • Green (wind)

Whether hung indoors or out, prayer flags symbolie the interconnected nature of our universe. Mondays and Fridays are considered the most auspicious days to hang prayer flags.

Each roll of prayer flag consists of two sets of five flags(10) connected with a sturdy string. Each flag is 6" x 7" and each strand of flags is 60" long.

There are five rolls in a pack for a total of 50 flags.
